We have been rated in the past by AAA Tourism with 3.5 stars and have retained this self-rated standard. This means we provide affordable, clean, comfortable accommodation, like a home away from home. The accommodation is eclectically furnished and tastefully pulled together.  All have cosy wood-fires for the cooler months.

We have:

• two pressed earth units sleeping six, and one studio open plan cottage sleeping two people.  Bunk beds may not be suitable for adults
• Self-contained with TV,  hotplates, mini oven, microwave, fans and heaters, electric start BBQ’s
• Bedlinen and towels provided. Please bring your own beachtowels.

Passive Solar Accommodation

The two bedroom accommodation was lovingly made from the clay on the property. The hand-pressed earth bricks are brilliant insulators keeping the accommodation warm in winter and cool in summer. These have been designed using the principles of passive solar – they face north east, with verandahs pitched to allow the sun into the accommodation in winter and out in the heat of summer, using rainwater for showers and kitchens and bore water for laundry and toilet use.

The previous owner was an artist and has painted many of the windows and incorporated coloured glass bottles into the brick work which give a fabulous effect. The accommodation is spacious and filled with everything you require in a home away from home. For the children there are books, toys, sandpit and swing.

Organic Cleaning

Keeping with the organic theme, Brett and Fiona only clean the accommodation using Enjo products, which use no chemicals whatsoever.
